Our Environmental Commitments

Particulate Matter, VOC’s, SOx & NOx

Clorox monitors the use and release of volatile organic compounds (VOC’s), particulate matter, sulfur oxides (SOx) and nitrous oxides (NOx). We submit annual emissions inventory reports to state agencies, and this information is publicly available. We’re committed to ensuring our plants are compliant with our air permits that limit these pollutants based on federal, state and local government regulations.

Our goal is to also look for ways to reduce particulate matter, VOC, SOx and NOx emissions. Accordingly, we have several projects in place to make our manufacturing practices more efficient, and are currently investigating new pilot reduction technologies for future implementations.
